Ever see the Stargate Atlantis bit where the three colonals are acknowledging each other. Colonel Caldwell says as he nods to the other two, "colonel, colonel" Shepherd says as he nods to the other two "colonel, colonel" and finally the third colonel does the same. Rodney watches this and says, "seriously?"
So to the birthday boy and the third post, nod "Captain" nod "Captain."
