I do suggest that the impulse engines burn more red than pink.

I always thought the actual color clashed. But will change to cannon soon. I reposted the ship on the previous page with the rest of the windows on it.

Here is a very early look at a minor race ship in development. The Dominion needs something to run their ships into per Happytrek. Here we go.

Your videos are always such fun to watch. Bravo!!! Edit: Happytrek and I posted at the same time and by chance used nearly the same wording.

I always said that we were connected, did I? And thinking almost alike, we stumble on the same expression, sorry to have stolen your words, my friend! (..whistling..)

Here is a link to one site that points out the gas jets that can form on comets as it move close to the parent star.
This and more diffuse sublimation is the source of the gas and dust that makes up the coma and tails. I took the appearance of the jets to extremes because it just looks cool.

Working on a new Klingon race intro video.
This is just a test I ran to see what changes need doing before moving on to more action. There is still a lot of work to go.

What about the dialog? Should we say something about how to play the Klingons or just make it feel Klingon as is?
If we do say something about how to play the Klingons what should that be? What difference is there in the code?

for me at the "old" intro http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mu1kJ11eQY I like....(of course I like it in total ) - at about 0:13 it's "we are a race of warriors", at the same time the fleet(!) starts to fire - then the dangerous threat is not alone a ship battle but a big fleet is attacking the planet => there's nothing more to say about Klingons (don't know much about Klingons' ingame advantages and disadvantages: - maybe similar to http://birth-of-the-empires.de/wiki/ind ... n_Imperium- never finalized that http://birth-of-the-empires.de/wiki/ind ... .C3.A4chen- in the old intro K’tinga doesn't fire (just threatens) - firing out of the middle for me would mean more effect....compare here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzJdsJGR4Kg at 2:04 and 3:37 or here http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/K%27t%2 ... al_systems

Those are good finds reg. In the DS9 still it looks like they are firing a beam weapon out of the torpedo tube. Not sure about that but it could also be the small red area above the tube. Anyway will have to work that in somehow.
