I finally got around to putting a little more in the trailer intro. There is a little more smoke and mirror work I want to add. It may be best to work on the Crystalline Entity for a while though.

Hey Kenneth, the music for this trailer is terrible. KEEP IT. Good job!!!!

We can use that music. It is from a TV add campaign by the US Army. I checked and any music that you can download from the US military sites is OK to use. The only problem is that people in the US will know what it is from. It is on SharePoint should we find other ways to us it.

I edited out the fade in from back the first clip had. You can now see a glimps of the ship drooping out of warp. There are not enough frames, it goes by too fast to be easily seen. I will fix that for the next installment at some point.

I still understood. Interestingly in slang, often Afro-American, bad means good or one deserving respect.

Wow Kenneth this is really well done! The Nebula looks awesome and the new 3D effect on the text is great!

Well I have a friend that is a musician, and has experience in making ingame music. But he is currently busy and will be available in a month or so. He agreed to help our game by making some "star trekish" music, and I will help him ofcourse since he is not much of a star trek fan. So can you make a list of music you need for the game.

Music hides and we can use some.
Right now the Romulans could use some help. There is little for them at this point.

Think Romans in the 24th century with pointy ears.

I still think the catchiest piece of music we have is And at 24 seconds, it's almost exactly the right length for the video.

But that's my personal preferences. Anyways, yes, the Romulans could do with more music. So could the Cardassians.

Kenneth, If for example you want to highlight the vessels of other empires in the trailer, how would you do?

It would look good to have a Romulan in the background go into cloak, add a Dominion and Cardassian fast fly through with Klingon chasing. I also want to re-texture the planet to an alien world. All this is on hold. We do have some audio clips to use in the full trailer. They can be found I will wait for the combat engine to build them in. It would be too hard to set up combat in the blender animation tool.

I am looking for a high resolution texture of an alien planet. That is a 2D image that I can apply to the planet in my game trailer. I need a high resolution image to replace that of earth in the trailer. The textures we have on SharePoint for planets are very low resolution. That is fine for the small planet images in the game UI. I have seen some textures for sale online but hope to do it on the cheap.

Good Idea. I considered putting a link into the video but you could not copy or click it. There is a link to our forums in the additional information loaded with the video. My hope is it will bring more fans to the project over time.

Starfleet and Vjeko have been doing some advertising for the project on their native language forums (French and Croatian respectively) so that should help to attract some interest too. Starfleet told me on MSN earlier that he posted information about the job requests too on the French forums he belongs to.
