seems like many races love balls and lines as their graphical expression . I guess the Star Trek artists could have given them a bit more variety.

Wow, the Denobulan one is completely different to the last one you did for us, Zeleni. I sent some updated images to Mike last night. I wonder if he will be pleased that that update is already out of date?

Mike made it, not me. The image in the news is actually just a screenshot I took of my own game after I updated it. It really does look like that ingame.

I'll start uploading the images to Sharepoint now; I don't know if you knew Zeleni, but Mike managed to get it running again.

I also just realised that Mike hasn't read my PM yet with the updated download links, so i'll update the update too.

*Edit - I just downloaded your zip file Zeleni. Damn that download site was fast. It's plagued by popup ads though. Anyways, it looks like there is a problem with the Gorn G.png image. I'm getting error messages about it being corrupted when I try to extract it. I've already redownloaded the zip file but that didn't work. Could you attach it to a PM or something for me so I can add it?

Thanks for these Zeleni, great work as ever. One little point though - the existing images are 120x120 pixels - these new ones are 300x300 though. Unfortunately resizing them in irfanview causes all sorts of transparency issues.

Are you going to redo all of the emblems in the new larger size?

120x120 images are obsolete matress, you should delete all old (120x120) emblems from supremacy resource folder and yes all emblems are going to be in 300x300.

Cool. I'll keep the 120 ones for the time being but delete them as you make the new versions. That will ensure the minors still have a useable emblem in the meantime.

i i've re-upudated game but logos aren't there.

Mike has read my PM's, but it might take a while to put them on the update server. I'll start saving the next load of images and send them as one big zip file for him in future. I'll upload them to Sharepoint as well.

Ok, i've unlocked this thread and swapped the names over.

Zeleni, do you have access to upload stuff to Sharepoint? If you do, could you upload ALL of the new/latest images to for me? If we have all of the images in a separate folder, it'll be easier to differentiate the new images from the old ones without having to resort to renaming or deleting the old files.

Don't worry about putting them into separate folders for the key races etc - just have the images all in one big folder. Once you've done that, i'll compile a big list of the images and post it on the forums again to keep it tidy.

Hey Zeleni, can you whip up replacement insignias for "__default.png" (shown for races without an insignia) and "__entity.png" (shown for Crystalline Entity and other special entities)?

Yes Mike, entity and unknown simbols are done. I tried to upload new set of 100 emblems to sharepoint but i couldn't sign in. Please Matress delete all emblems from sharepoint and replace them with new set and if its possible reupdate game with new emblems, thanks

Pack includes emblems for races in game database but there are some canon emblems from various star trek civilisations which at this time aren't included in the game and about 40 races aren't completed yet. I hope players will enjoy.

I'm downloading the files now. I'll put them in my Supremacy game files ready for when Mike is ready to accept an image update and I'll delete all the existing emblems from Sharepoint and upload these ones to prevent any future confusion. It'll take me a while to upload all the files though as the Explorer view isn't compatible with Internet Explorer 8 on Windows XP.

*Edit - ok, i've downloaded the files but i'm just confused by them, Zeleni. There was a zip file within the rar file that contained a different version of the some of the emblems in the original rar file whilst many others have been duplicated within both the rar file and the zip file. Some of the emblems have alternative images assoicated with them, and most of the images also have the letter "G" as a prefix on the file name. There are also a few emblems for races i've never heard of (You've already mentioned this though so i'll create a separate folder for them on Sharepoint just in case we add them at a future date or people decide they want to mod them in themselves), there are a couple of typos in the filenames (But those are easy to fix), and about a third of the minor races still haven't got any emblems (Which I know you mentioned, but that's about 50-odd minor races, not the 40 you said, even though the minor race list hasn't changed since you were last on the forums).

Incidentally, a small number of canon minor races were rejected from being in the game because either we didn't have an image of high enough quality for them, they didn't have a unique trait that could be used for a special building, or simply not enough is known about them.

Anyways, is there a reason for the points that I mentioned above?

Other than that, the images are looking shiny and new, which is exactly how you said you would make them look, so great job!

matress delete zip file in rar file, only emblems with g prefix are correct. I left typos for you to correct them.
