interested in Energy Production and Pricing ?

As I’m located in Germany I only have some links from here, but maybe also interesting.

--- much energy goes to Austria: they are buying it when the price is low, storing it in pumped-storage hydroelectricity (alps are similar high as Rocky Mountains are), and sell it when price is high (e.g. 7pm). It’s very helpful that they buy our energy due to rescue our electric power transmission net from breakdown.

Interesting figures there, reg! Sadly, still a very long time till conventional energy sources will be outdone by the green, regenerable energy types. I'd invest in a way to clean the atmosphere, soil and water of waste produced by power plants and automobiles and such. That way, there would be no problem with pollution, but I guess that is even harder to achieve than finding clean ways of producing electricity.

I am sick of that absurd german energy excess talking so they have to pay for exporting it and therewhile even exceed power line capacity.
They should simply inform us customers when there is too much energy and let us benefit instead. I am sure there are enough people interested to take care of. But no, they have contracts and rather trouble other country's energy supplier by exporting it even further to countries behind the neighbours countries and complain at the government to get better financial support. Yeah, great idiots but well lets do some price dumping to break the other countries energy suppliers, that's fine. -.-
