Crash at ship building: selected a ship and gave the order to build. Than i wanted to change the order again - did another double click onto the shipyard. (I did this many times previously without crash, but now we had two crashes like this, with many turns between)

Kenneth has the autosav, my race was Federation, shipyard was in Sol, build order (canceled) was Frigate I.

my error.txt is empty, log.txt nothing strange.

I think it's the double click, I remember crashes on double clicks or too fast clicking in general too (not this game)

Does this only happen in MP? I can't seem to repro in SP.

Was the ship already under construction, or was this the turn you gave the order? Sounds like the latter, but just to be sure.

The only weird thing I get is if I Select A Ship To Construct by double-clicking on in, the ship goes to the construction dock but the Select A Ship To Construct window doesn't close automatically, I have to hit Ok or Cancel.

it was just the turn I gave the order

I re-tried in SP: normally all one click -> ship order is set and deleted

-> just try all with double clicks

- sometimes after selecting e.g. a colony ship "select a ship"-Windows closes, sometimes not).
- normally a double click to e.g. colony ship selects it AND closes the window
- sometimes the window stays (as already Iceman wrote)

however: in SP i had now no crash, and in MP it caused the crash (I hope nothing else was the reason :hmm: )

I`ll try and repro but it does sound weird (and yeah... shouldn`t be MP only... but perhaps).

I tried to reproduce this in both an XP machine and a Win7 machine, and in both SP and hotseat MP (both machines), and the game never crashed.

so I suggest to close this bug thread (and only re-open it, if it is reproduceable). Sorry and thanks for having a look.
