@ftranschel thats just a generic texture, the ship is not quite done, i have yet to uv map the damn thing

The base hull texture is alot better

If you dont go with ftranschel's suggestion of a light cruiser or escort, perhaps it could be a heavy cruiser, or the Cardassian equivalent of an explorer (I dont mean a scout by that ). As far as names, pick the ships designation, and I'll see if a name doesnt jump to mind.

Edit: also, do you have a particular 'era' in mind that the ship will be in (TOS,TNG, etc...). It looks like it would be somewhere around or after TNG times to me.
