The Baneans are a relatively amiable people, despite their recent conflict with the Numiri, with whom they had pre-viously shared a homeworld. They have a strict legal system, whereby murderers are forced at regular intervals to endure the last memories of a victim‘s life by means of inserting memory engrams. This is a controversial policy, but an effective one. |
